The EcoFlow Solar Angle Guide is a simple alignment accessory for compatible portable solar panels. It helps show whether direct sunlight is meeting the panel squarely; it does not concentrate sunlight or increase the panel’s rated efficiency.
How does the Solar Angle Guide work?
The guide uses a shadow indicator. Follow the product instructions to attach it and adjust the panel until the shadow is aligned as intended. Repositioning may be needed as the sun moves.
What affects the result?
Shade, cloud, temperature and the power station’s input limit still affect charging. The guide is most useful when there is a clear directional sunlight reference. Better alignment cannot compensate for a heavily shaded site.
Portable panels and roof pitch are different
A portable panel can be adjusted for the moment. A permanent roof array needs a design that balances annual yield, structure, weather exposure and available space. Read our solar panel angle guide for that distinction.
Set portable equipment on a stable surface and follow its wind and handling instructions. Check the attachment fits the exact panel before purchase.
